Hi! My name is Ms. Janney, and I lead the Teachers for Tomorrow Program for Roanoke City. I’m lucky because I get to teach 9-12 grade students from both William Fleming and Patrick Henry. I offer level 1 and 2 of Teachers for Tomorrow as well as a Leadership Development course for successful completers of the program.
In Teachers for Tomorrow, students can earn the following industry certifications:
-Workplace Readiness
-ParaPro (this will allow you to work as an instructional assistant as soon as you graduate!)
Students can take my classes as dual enrollment, earning both high school and college credit at the same time. I also offer the Praxis Core assessment which is required at many colleges before entering the Education program.
We have a lot of fun in class, and I’m so excited to be back in person with all of my students.
