FBLA Learning from the Real World
Thirty-Five members of the WFHS FBLA joined by 12 members of the PHHS FBLA spent the weekend visiting the Pennsylvania Countryside where they observed many different business models in action. They took a ride on an old fashioned steam engine and then toured an Amish Dairy Farm.  They toured an Amish school and home, watched a special effects film, and enjoyed an Amish meal.  On the second day they toured the Hershey Chocolate Factory, made their own candy bars, and then went spinning, falling, and diving at Hershey Park.  The third day included a visit to the Turkey Hill Ice-Cream Experience where they learned about the history of Turkey Hill, how ice cream is made, and made their own personalized pint of ice cream.
